DreamShot: Screenshot Shortcut App Reviews
Perfect...
Instagram should be an option but wow this is just what I needed! A cleaner button panell might be nice, but that is getting picky.
Only bug I noticed is that when I click the Email button after capturing a screenshot, it opens a new email in Outlook for Mac (v.15.11.2) but the attachment/picture is not there.
It has the most options for capturing a screen
What I especially like is the capability to print a screen capture immediately. I use it frequently.
I have struggled with doing scrapbooking projects that took long, tedious hours. I stumbled onto this app and have been thrilled at its performance. Thank you for helping me optimize my time for efficiently.
Awesome
Exactly what I was looking for, saves a ton of time trying to grab images.
Good idea
But it would be better if target selection is easier or better yet by keyboard shortcuts
easy to use and works as described
DreamShot is easy to use and works as described.
I take a lot of screenshots of fantasy football stuff, mostly to send via apple messages or just for my own future use in deciding who to play. Two problems that this app fixes. First, desktop gets clogged up. Second, it eliminates the steps of having to open desktop folder, find file, and then draft to messages. You can drag immediately after capture with this app. Also love the floating feature. Great job devs
Great!
I’ve been looking for a long time for a decent screen capture program on the Mac and I’ve finally found it!
Cannot disable the screenshot sound
I like this application but I really wish there was an option to turn off the sound when a screenshot is taken using DreamShot.
Unless I’m doing something wrong, whenever I click SAVE (to save the screenshot to a pre-defined folder) it uses the default Untitled.jpg or whatever filename—so I need to manually rename the file or it will overwrite the previous screenshot). Mac OS X’s default screenshot capability (automatically saving successive screenshots to the desktop and sequentially numbering them) is better than DreamShot, in this regard.
I use this app every day. Quick grabs of graphics on websites; sections of photos I want to copy and paste into presentations; photo grabs to augment emails or Facebook posts. It’s convenient, stable, robust and so, so useful. An excellent app.
